Brass
Brass is an alloy of two metals, copper and zinc, the proliferation of tools and ornaments made of brass along the history of humankid, from handicraft and so now industrially, it is mainly due to their outstanding properties:
- It is and easily moldeable material whit a melting temperature lower than that of iron, steel or bronze and copper. Brass mealts around 980º
- It has an excellent perfomance and plasticity in the hot stamping.
- It is a good heat conductor.
- It has a good resistance to corrosion. Hence its use in coupling for taps and water pipers.
- It has a excellent welding properties.
- It is a metal recicable easily and whose residues can be selected with ease and re-merge as necessary.
- No change at temperatures between -100º and 200º, degrades or with light.
